What Compliance Actually Means for Your Project
Most people assume that a balustrade installed by a licensed supplier is automatically compliant. In practice, that’s not always the case.
At Specification Stage
Correct post centres, panel spans, heights and fixings based on site-specific load conditions. This is where most non-compliance originates.
At Fabrication Stage
Materials certified to AS 1288:2021 (glass) and appropriate structural grade aluminium. All fabricated in-house at Warriewood.
At Handover
Every project handed over with full compliance documentation — engineering certification, inspection records and a close-out pack.
At Specification Stage
Compliance at the Specification Stage — RailSpec
The most common cause of balustrade non-compliance is an error at design stage. To address this, we built RailSpec — our compliance specification tool that enforces engineering-reviewed parameters and NCC-aligned constraints from the outset.
